About
Hello and welcome to My Epsilen Website. My name is Cody Sandifer, and I am currently a Graduate Research Assistant and Doctoral Candidate at the University of Toledo, Department of Educational Foundations and Leadership.  My expected graduation date is May of 2009.  Upon graduation it is my goal to attain a job as an assistant principal, so I may gain real world administrative experience.  I will use this experience as a precursor to obtaining a job as a school principal at the secondary level.

I spent five years as an educator before I entered graduate school.  I earned my bachelors degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Abilene Christian University in 1999. From the Fall of 1999 to the spring of 2001 I served as a United States History teacher of 8th and 9th grade students at Northland Christian School in Houston, Texas.  I then worked as an 8th grade United States History Teacher at Paul Revere Middle School, in Houston Texas, from Fall 2001 to Spring 2003. My wife and I moved to Toledo, Ohio in the summer of 2003.  During the 2003-2004 school year I served as the In-School Suspension teacher at Springfield Middle School in Holland, Ohio. I began my Master's Degree work at the University of Toledo in the Fall of 2004, graduating in the spring of 2006, recieving the honor of being recognized as the Most Outstanding Graduating Master's student for the 2006 school year.

My current interests involve integrating quality into education.  This involves the quality philosophy of W. Edwards Deming as applied to schools and the use of quality tools and statistical analysis for feedback to improve the educational system at the district, school, and classroom level.
